Easter 2012 OPEN Good Friday ,Saturday Easter Sunday and Easter Monday open every day - The Farm restaurant is located in the centre of Dublin adjacent to Trinity College in 3 Dawson Street, which runs parallel with Grafton Street.
The Farm is owned and operated by an Irish family who have been involved in the hospitality industry in Dublin for 40 years, together with their General Manager Marina Sarosi. And head chef Sean Hunter.
The decision to open the Farm in 2007 was 3 years in the making and came about by the obvious requirement by the public for better, healthier, and traceable fresh and even in some cases Organic food.
Having thought about this and discussed it at length for what seemed like an eternity it was decided that the Farm concept would become a reality, with our mission statement as “Affordable, tasty, homemade and locally sourced. As much organic and or free range as we can, healthy vegetables and fresh herbs”.
This mission statement has served us well and the Farm has been warmly embraced by locals and visitors alike.
We have an extensive lunch and dinner menu, daily specials and an Early Bird menu Sunday—Friday each week.
Much of our produce comes from organically certified Irish producers, whose certification hangs on the wall of the Farm.
We spend much time developing our menus changing them frequently to ensure that we always have a nice or different dish to offer our many regular customers.
The Farm also has a children’s menu, developed using the opinions of “consultant” children of friends and family to ensure that we got it right.
The result being that we serve Organic chicken nuggets, organic pasta and even an organic 5oz Sirloin steak to our quite discerning young ladies and gentlemen when they visit.
Here at the Farm we serve a range of organic wines, beer, organic soft drinks, organic tea and organic fair trade coffee. Even our milk is organic!
The Farm is OPEN seven days a week serving a full menu throughout the day from 12 noon to 11pm.
Come in and see us when you can, you will be made feel very welcome! - Had a lovely meal over the bank holiday in Farm Restaurant. We had the four course dinner which was excellent. I cannot resist chicken wings when I see them on a menu and they didn't disappoint, garnished to perfection, my other half had the goat's cheese starter which was also gorgeous. I had the burger for main and the other side of the table had the steak, both cooked to perfection and accompanied well with sides. Rounded off with the chefs desert and a cappuccino this was a most pleasant experience. Cosy and friendly we will most definitely be returning in the future!! </RestaurantDetails>

<comment>I got a great deal here recently on a four course meal. The food was excellent, especially the orange and dark chocolate mousse which I had for dessert. I also really liked that a lot of the ingredients were specified as local produce which is always nice to see on a menu.
The only slight flaw I found with the place was that as we were seated down the stairs by the door, the service was a little slow. The waiters and waitresses seemed to concentrate more on the upstairs section.
Great overall and I would highly recommend everyone to give it a try.</comment>

<comment>OK so firstly I should mention the visit prior to this one where I ordered the mushroom risotto and it was undercooked. I wasn't sure at first until I asked my lunch companion to taste it and she assured me it should not be al dente! When I mentioned it to the waiter as he was clearing the dishes away he simply said ok sorry about that. A complimentary drink/coffee would have been a better way to handle it.

This didn't put me off revisiting and most recently I had lunch selecting the chicks on the run and my guest had the organic steak sandwich followed by the apple pie and the chocolate orange mousse. Food was excellent although I found the mousse too sweet for my liking and more chocolate than orange. The food was slow in coming but it was worth the wait. I like the vibe in the restaurant and that all the food is organic a lot of people I've mentioned it to think its a vegetarian place but no there's lots of great meat dishes on the menu. Worth a visit.</comment>

<comment>I came here for the first time using pigsback megadeal. It is a 4 course meals for 2.Normally it cost €29.95 per person but I bought at half price.
I brought my son together and they gave him a small activity pad with crayon to entertain him.We bought our kid an omelette and fries which he love it.
For us,the meal portion quite good.Really full and I think it is a good value especially when I used megadeals voucher.I can see most of the customers that night using that vouchers.
The best part is the dessert.I didn't normally order bread and butter pudding but this one served warm and to die for.Really soft and nice.Definitely go back for the pudding.</comment>

<comment>I went to The Farm for the first time a couple of months ago and loved it. I really liked the décor and lighting which makes the place feel cosy and comfortable. I ordered 3 courses off the early bird menu which was great value at €23.95. I had the hummus to start, chicken supreme for the main and a gorgeous bread and butter pudding for dessert. The food was hearty and delicious and the portion sizes were generous. Staff were attentive and friendly. I will definitely be coming back for more.</comment>

<comment>I was at a work conference and we decided on the farm for lunch. We were a group of 30 and everyone noted how great the food, location and service was. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very relaxed, the food is wholesome with interesting combinations, something for everyone. They very kindly allowed us to have our coffees as take away which was very helpful for the conference. I think the Farm got more then a few fans on t that sunny Tuesday lunch time</comment>

<comment>I opted for the early bird menu which is available from 3pm to 7pm. Tomato soup followed by chicken. The main course is one of the most substantial available with a good portion of meat and a nice helping of mash and veg. I decided against wine and stuck with water which arrived in a chilled bottle which was much appreciated as I find many restaurants don't chill the tapwater brought to table.</comment>

<comment>I ate here with a dining club that I have just joined. I was the one of the first to arrive and was promptly offered a drink by a very pleasant guy. Service throughout was pleasant and highly efficient. For starters I had a beautiful goats cheese tart followed by a beef and guinness stew for mains. The beef was perfectly tender and tasty. I chose a chocolate mousse for desert which was heavenly. The atmosphere was buzzing on the night concerned. This eatery offers excellent value for money for the quality of food it provides. Overall a most enjoyable evening great food and great company.</comment>

<comment>4 of us went to The Farm recently - 2 first timers, and 2 repeat customers. We had Pigsback vouchers so were only paying for the wine. This was a great bargain, only marred slightly by the waiter leading us to our table who loudly asked for the vouchers before we'd even sat down. Ahem, apart from that the rest of the night was great. The food, as usual, was to a high standard - we had 2 goat's cheese starters and 2 plates of chicken wings between us. The wings were succulent & juicy and the goat's cheese tarts light and fluffy. For the mains, 2 had steaks with champ, pepper sauce and veg and 2 had burgers with all the trimmings. My brother in law said it was the nicest burger he ever had. The steaks were perfectly cooked as were the veg. We finished off with the Farm Surprise (meringue and cream and fruit) and a choclate orange mousse. It's a really nice place that I'd highly recommend.</comment>

<comment>I visited here yesterday (9th of April 2012). Myself and my partner went for the dinner menu..30e each. I got the goats cheese for starter. This was beautifully presented and came with a large side salad. I then had the steak, medium rare. It came with mushrooms, onions and mashed potatoes. I actually couldnt finish it, it was such a decent portion, I love my food....and I could not finish it!!! My partner got the chicken wings...they were really meaty and the sauce was nice and spicy! He too got the steak...no complaints from him either. We both thengot the merinuge dessert...presented in a tall glass with ice cream, cream, fruit, rasberry syrup and chocolate. There was a nice crowd in the restaurant, the staff were lovely and the location is brill...so central to everything. I couldnt recommend this place enough...I will def return .Worth every cent.</comment>
